Almost over? Oh, ye of little ...

The Herald announced that Southwest, Sunset, and Braddock will participate in a Kansas Tie Breaker on Monday. J says that the quarterback for SW hurt his arm against Varela.

Delicate arm or not, the show must go on! Why is this tie called Kansas?

Zeta, I finally found this definition on the internet:
"A Kansas Tiebreaker is much like overtime in college football. Depending on what you decide, the teams start at either the opponents' 10-, 25- or 40-yard line.

Both teams get one possession to score and if the score is still even after that possession, they do it again."

Because Braddock has won one more game, Southwest and Sunset play first. The winner of the first round gets 20 minutes to re-group and then plays Braddock under the same Kansas tiebreaker rules. (J explained all of this to me.)

And this is just for the Division!

Sorry to hear about the quarterbacks arm being busted up. I suppose SW chances are diminishing to win this tie breaker.

Thank you Ranger. Sounds interesting and I wish this was a weekend event.

big ed, one must hope twenty-minutes is not a long time for a sore arm.

His sore arm kept him out of the game. SW lost they couldn't get any offence going, oh, well.
