Proper planning prevents ...

We had intended to rise early, get the grocery shopping out of the way before crowds gathered, and possibly congratulate our early-bird selves. When the alarm went off, I got up, moved around a little, decided I wouldn't after all, turned off the alarm (ocean sounds) and went back to bed.

We didn't go to the store until this afternoon. Ha, there were few people there. All of the early birds had gotten their worms and left. The shelves were restocked and pristine. Who could have guessed?

Tomorrow's big event: oil changes for both cars. Life in the fast lane ...

T and I shopped Saturday and got home by 10:30am, loaded with our weekly supplies. It was a lovely day, blue sky, wispy white clouds and a tinge of cool. We took home biscuit sandwiches for breakfast, a treat we allow ourselves on weekends. Today, the drive thru line was around Hardees when we got there. Seems everybody else in town had the same idea. Still, it's a small town and few things take that long - especially when your husband parks and goes inside to order!

Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance. My proper planning for Publix visits are, to shop after work around 8:45. The deli area has a small line, isles are empty of shoppers, and the shelves are stock full of items for the next day. Saturday morning was relaxing, plus I cooked bacon eggs and grits along with brewed Starbucks coffee. Yep, the Super Bowl has finally arrived. BBQ grill is ready for the game starts at 6:00 p.m. My plan is to steno the football game for more practice.
