Calling, calling ...

We will accept kudos for showing such restraint, yesterday. We drove right past a Starbucks and did not stop, even though we have a card for free coffee on Wednesdays. Starbucks is also where no sugar added banana nut cake resides. Sometimes, when they are not out of it.

The card came attached to an advertisement in the Herald. We still have two more Wednesdays in this month to wield it. Free coffee is a mighty lure. Banana. Nut. Sugar free. That's not a lure, that's a siren call.

Perhaps, perhaps we should not accept kudos too soon ...

What's amazing is that we didn't stop for fast food of any kind. There is a Micky Dee's near by and we didn't stop there either. I was very hungry.

**Sigh** I have fresh ground Starbucks coffee in the bag and do you suppose I can get a cup during the week? Noooo. Just on weekends when I can load the pot and let it perk away. That banana-nut sugar-free cake was eye-crossing outstanding, however. It should have a recipe posted where one could duplicate it at will.
If you will, I will!)

Yes, I wish we could find the secret banana-nut cake sugar free recipe. Every morning, we have Starbucks coffee which is prepared the night before. Or, Mark makes the coffee for me since I'm kinda sleepy in the morning with bad coordination.

I too will be traveling to starbucks today. I was given a 20.00 gift card at work, and since there is a starbucks right across the parking lot, you know I am all over that!

Sarah, I think Starbucks purchased with a gift card tastes better than it normally does. Free adds goodness, no?

Mmmm. Their cinnamon dolce latte is to die for! Once a month I allow myself that indulgence. Mmmmm.

I'd have a no sugar added, one Splenda Caramel Macchiato, please. With the no sugar banana nut cake on the side. Or just kill me with kindness. Same effect.
