East . . .

Downgrade is the word to hope for when considering weather reports. This morning, I heard something so unusual that it sounded unlikely to be true. If it were not for the source being the Weather Channel, complete with storm track, I would not believe that the tropical storm, formerly hurricane, Hanna was moving east. East, I ask you?

East is good considering the matter from our perspective. However, the islands down in the Caribbean may not like the trend. And I do wish them a safe endurance.

East is good for us, however. Let's hear it for EAST . . . however unlikely.

wunderground still has the model showing Hanna picking up and moving in a curve along the Atlantic Seaboard and then heading kind of North and East. Ike it the one that has moi a bit apprehensive. It's a Cat4 and going who knows where!

Hanna seems to be sliding rain our way this morning. The weather is stable with some heavy wind. As for Ike, speechless at the moment. Oh oh. drinking bottles of H20 search in process just in case WE LOOSE POWER again. My co-workers and upper management think Ike is a problem. As a result, we are trying to work with future patient appointment dates so we can reschedule if necessary. Patient over the telephone questions. = "But what if the hurricane arrives? We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for next year. Will you still charge me if I don't show due to the hurricane?" We would like to but upper management won't let us charge you for not showing up due to a hurricane." Just kidding. :)

Reminds me of sighting in the range for artillery. One shot past us, one shot short of us. Lets hope Ike hasn't found the range.

Would you believe that we have no appointments scheduled in September? It's like we cleared the calendar for hurricane season, by accident, of course.
