What time is it?

Currently, we are living on storm-time. That is the hiatus between having provisions laid in and actually needing them because the power is out. It is the antsy time of loose handles (as in flying off of) and watching the cat to see if her fear escalates. So far, our company is comforting to her.

When she seeks a black hole to hide herself in, it's duck and cover season. Time to hunker down.

We're pretty well hunkered, already . . .

Mark noticed the H20 bottles climbing the wall of the kitchen. Our grown children may need something to drink when the come over to visit or maybe H20 to go back home as well. We have already had a request (youngest son) to come back home if the storm Yike its Ike hits. Sure anytime. We have two tanks of propane on standby for the BBQ grill. Ranger, Biged, and Dad, we can have a feast of food in candle light and flashlights. The AC will be natural of course. Casual cool dress and plenty of water.

Our H2O bottles are in the room with the stationary bicycle and one might also find a box of canned storm supplies there. I made sure I can still ride my bicycle, though. First things first.

Good influence. My bike misses me or maybe I miss my bike.
