Plans . . .

The day we arrived at J's mother's home, we went to bed early because we wanted to. Well, okay, we needed to. In fact I could have put my head down any time and been gone. Thank Heaven for Starbucks.

On Mother's Day, we took J's mother and sister to a fine restaurant which gave each of the mothers a little something. It was a gift certificate usable on the next visit.

The day after Mother's Day, we had big plans. We were going to the bank and the post office.

I couldn't wait . . .

Still, it was good to hear from you and realize you were just a hop, skip and jump away. Okay, a looo-o-ng hop but still....

I made firm announcements that "Good Lord willing and the crick don''t rise," we will see you, next visit. There should be a Sisters' Day. I declare it.

I'm glad to have you all back. Mew was mad. She eventually got over it. At least someone else is feeding and brushing the cat in the morning.

How about bowing low and pulling the forelock when one feeds and brushes Her Majesty The Cat...who is doing that!

About Sister's Day - since none of the other days are taken, I vote we make all days not already designated Holidays into Sibling Day. That way, S'sters and Brudders can share equally in the cake and icecream and flowers and cards that'll be bought for the new holiday. Quick, run out and buy stock in Hallmark and Bluebell. We'll get rich!

Well, somebody will.....

Oooh, we love Blue Bell, too. Sugar free, of course. All I can find in stock lately is vanilla and banana split. We were able to find choclate once. Berry, berry goood.

J and I are sharing cat duty, as of now . . .

she likes it better with you all. At least, she gets up earlier and gets her massage down when she likes it. She therefore gets to her mourning routine earlier than before too. Her routine was out of wack with me.
