Who are you and why am I?

Today, I actually did become take on some vampire-like characteristics. Well, one characteristic. Sunlight did not kill me. It just blinded me so that two pairs of sunglasses were needed. One of the two was a stylish pair of the old-guy, goggle-like, heavy sunglasses similar to the ones that cataract sufferers wear post surgery.

I was delighted to be able to peer at the world through them without my eyes watering. All this whining is the result of having my eyes dilated and then having one of them dilated again. I feared it might be stuck in the open position like a broken camera.

The world around me is slowly assuming its usual appearance. It seems that the tripped circuit breaker has reset itself.

Phew . . .

Having your sight improve is always good news. My eyelids will start to swell shut when I'm really tired. My eyelashes eventually will start to blend in with my vision. Yes, its time to sleep. eeehhhhhheeeehhh.

Aunt Ranger and Matt could have gone as a couple to the Vampire Ball. He had his eye exam and dilation last week and came out squinting with dark disposable shades. He got replacement glasses and is so proud of them and is being so careful to keep them safe from harm. He sure didn't like the blurred sunshine though.

Poor baby - I sympathize. Imagine if they had done it to one of his peepers two times.

I had a mental conversation with that eye: Iris, behave yourself. Shut iris, look at your buddy (looks cross-eyed) and act like that.

LOL, I never could cross my eyes without putting my finger on my nose! You always could. Talent will out!
