Worth how many words . . .

This is an experience. It struck a nerve with many folks who commented on the web site.

Go, see, experience. It is a photography contest and the subject is Coming Home.

If you want to know what I think of the site click on the link, above, and read comment #272. Never mind, the comment evaporated.

But, I bet the pictures will get your attention first . . .

This is an emotional subject and the owner of the blog has many military families both former and current. Your comment is buried somewhere where I can't find it. The thread that I found had 232 comments. I'm sure this is going to go on for a while on that blog.

I was in tears! So beautiful, those pictures. Reminded me of our family members. It struck me that we are all the same, we Americans. We love our families and the country and God and our neighbors - and in tough times, we all come together in a wonderful way... where's my hanky, dratted tears....

Same effect here. These are so precious and some of them grab you by the throat. Those little starfish fingers of the baby reaching for her dad . . . the child ignoring the helicopters and running to meet the only person she wanted to see. I can choke myself up by just thinking about it.
