Free water ... no tears

Right now, it's really raining, straight down and no breeze with it. Finally. We have been so dry, of late. You can practically hear the gratitude of the grass.

When J spoke with his mom and his brother earlier this week, he asked them to send some of the wet surplus they were having, in North Florida and in Tennessee, down our way.

He should call and thank them ...

**************************
Susurus whisper,
Grateful dry blades drinking up -
Soon, we'll have to mow.

Haiku

Mowing means me, if I wasn't on a diet I would say that it sucks. Since, I am on a diet I gotta take it and like it. Still sucks in a way.

Good exercise for the mind and body. I too am trying to diet with salads and soups. I'm considering bike riding on Thursdays in the morning when it is still cool outside. When days do you bike ride?

Whenever I dump the rain guage after checking how many inches we got, I always toss the moisture away towards the SOUTH! No matter how many inches we got, it always goes to the south. Soooo-o-o-o, you could say we've sent some of our rain your way?

I can bike ride early Thursday morning. Give me a call and we can talk about it.

Some of us are grateful for the rain. Some of us don't want to mow and say thanks but that's enough.

Thank you, 01 Doc. If you could manage to hit the lake in the middle of the state, that would be excellent, too.

We'uns needs our watah table to rahse a bit.

If o1 Doc could throw rainwater as far as that lake to the south, she'd toss some the other way, up into Jawja as well. There's a lake that's low in that state and it feeds some of our needs. Maybe what ol Doc needs is a rotating sprinkler!

LOL :) The rotating sprinkler would have to be used on the day your area does not have water restrictions. Maybe not, your neighbors are far enough away from you where they can't see the H20 rotating in your yard.
