Cat-mentary . . .

In the interest of family unity, it may be just as well that the U of M lost last night. At least the team did not defeat itself with errors. Although the incidents from the Georgia game had repercussions: their win-or-go-home status being the most obvious.

This morning, we had what I am beginning to think of as scared-y-cat weather. Mew took the thunder as long as she could and then bolted, low to the ground, for sanctuary. The door to our bedroom was left
only cat-wide to discourage intruders. She came out after all was quiet and joined us.

I guarantee that a cat can
look embarrassed: she did . . .

U of M has 1 in the loss column? Well, it was an honor just to play in the tournament, wasn't it! WASN'T it!

Poor Mew - good job she wasn't here with us yesterday. The office lost power and it took a second for the generator to kick in. The exit sign glowed beautifully, though. Thundering and Lightening - or Lumbering and Frightening. If someone had left my door ajar, I'd have run, too.

Mew has some serious issues with the weather. When she was little, she looked outside at the rain and was glad to be indoors dry and untouched. All of a sudden, a bolt of lightning flashed nearby, and she hasn't been the same ever since. She has phobias now.

Must be a trait with orange and white kitties. Body Guard was hiding in the corner of the laundry room behind the luggage.
