Or pixie dust . . .

I wish I enjoyed housecleaning more than I do. I do like to read housecleaning tips. There may be something in each new book, article, or website to make housecleaning fun.

Elbow grease in a sprinkle can. Now, there's a thought . . .

I enjoy reading cleaning tips, too. But I plan to invest in a Roomba when I retire. Something which will come out from the little plug-in port and whisk about the carpets and floors szzzucking up the debris and then quietly return to storage in the corner. Something which charges itself between cleanings. I figure I can tie a Swiffer extended pole duster to the side and do two tasks with one Roomba. After that, it's set up a robot lawn mower system outside and we can all retire to the neatly mown back yard to run through the sprinklers. Just don't track mud and grass through to the carpets when you come in. I don't think Roomba handles mud.

Maybe if you purchased a bigger Roomba.....mud could be a challege.
