We are in the process of helping a manufacturer correct a (possibly) defective numbering system for parts. Do we want to do this? We would not have volunteered ....
Twice, the manufacturer has sent the regulator for the left rear window rather than the one we need on the right side. Today, they are overnighting the part numbered for the left side, to see if the part numbers are reversed in their system. If it is the one we need, the system needs reversing.
I doubt if we will be given any credit for our assistance, monetary or otherwise.
Stay tuned ....

Oh my goodness....hopefully your parts will arrive today with correct order numbers on the invoice.
Nope, nope, this regulator is too far to the left.
Nope, nope, this regulator is too far the left as well.
Let’s try again. Right, right right, please.... right opposite your left.
Sucks to be me. I'm the one not driving around. I wonder if it is some kind of curse. Maybe, it is because one of us broke a window. Seven years is a long time. Who knows, Maybe it has something to do with Babe Ruth.
I guess it's too much to ask that a part be - uh, interchangable? Like left fits right and vice versa.
Tell the company picker and packers, hold up your hands in front, index and thumbs extended. The hand with the L is your left. The other hand would be your right.
What a superb idea, 01 Doc. We could make gloves interchangeable and shoes, too. I think we're on to something, here.
