It is completed. RV called at two this afternoon to say that the right part (in both senses) had come in. We took the car right over and went back to pick it up an hour later.
Wonderful to be through with this mission.

The door and window look marvelous. There is a feeling of relief when all of the vehicles are home from the auto repair shop ready for our daily errands.
I still use their car to do their errands. Even though my A/C is better, it is their gas, and I appreciate it.
The Before and After pictures look like two different planets, let alone cars. The Before could be taken on the Moon from inside the lander and the After is obviously taken on planet Earth, hence the green plants outside. Idn't Teknowledgey just wonnerful?
O1 doc, the outer space view is the side of the van which the car is parked near. The top of the van's wheel well is just visible at the bottom of the car's window opening. (Or the lander, if you prefer.)
When E drove home, he parked closer to the sidewalk - which allowed planet earth hibiscus vegetation to be visible in the background.
How clever of you to notice our difference in E's parking places on the moon and on terra.
