This just in ...

Southwest racked up 33 points against Gables. Unfortunately, Gables replied with 48. From the high scores, it seems as if the defense for both sides phoned in their efforts. But, Gables had the louder ringtone.

Speaking of ringtones, I downloaded the "angry cat" from the Bellsouth (now AT&T) website. It is set to respond to calls from Big E because we both think it's funny. (Mew thinks my phone sometimes has a bad attitude.) The other day, while sitting by myself in an optometrist's inner waiting room, the angry cat wailed from my purse.

When it's the cat, I always know who's calling ...

Mew is getting used to the phone. She used to nose it, flip it over, beg us for help and what have ya. She used to come from nowhere and attack the phone. Now, she ignores it. We've burnt her out.

Maybe she just thinks that old angry cat in Ranger's purse has said the same thing so many times it doesn't really mean a word of it?

All brag, no fact....
All spit, no fire....
All teeth, no claws..

How'd you get that kitty in that little plastic box, anyway?

Not only did Southwest loose to Gables High, UM lost to Virgina on the very last football game played in the Orange Bowl. Elissa, Steve, and I have marched on the Orange Bowl field during marching band at certain points in our lives. It's sad to see an Icon since 1937 destroyed to ? Saturday's paper has an entire section dedicated to the Orange Bowl on heavy paper.

Mew is very smart and it only took her a little while to figure out that the phone was a prank.

Even I have been on the field at the Orange Bowl: dancing our childish version of the Tarantella with kids from Highland Park and other schools.

Very disappointing this last Orange Bowl game was. Much to learn when team quits, I see.
{Yoda Rant off}
They gave up, even the coach noticed it. At least the Dolphins don't quit. They just plain lose. It sucks to be a fan down here in Miami. Even the Heat are on a losing streak. They say in the papers, "Who will win first, the Dolphins, or the Heat." It has been bad down here as a fan.

Some fans still purple pride to use as a crutch.
