Last June, I took this picture of the Poinciana tree in bloom. The dreadul shot below is how it looks now: skeletal, ugly seed pods shedding all over.
Pitiful, just pitiful ...

I love the way trees look in Winter - branches laced against the sky and sometimes in the night they catch the moon in their wooden fingers or twinkle stars between their branches. Our Pecan trees are lovely while waiting for the first little fuzz of green in Spring.

Ah, but this tree is surrounded by green lushness and just looks dead .... except for the seed pods it drips all over.
Hum, my mango tree looks the same way except much smaller.
I feel sorry for your Mango tree. I don't feel sorry for the Poinciana tree.
