Pretty, pretty ... fragile

This Poinciana is right outside E's window. It was more loaded with blossoms yesterday but the rains have knocked most of them off. The tree is in my neighbor's yard but a great deal of it hangs over ours. These things are so brittle that if I were to tug on that lowest branch on the right, the whole thing would break off nearly to the trunk.

This is the voice of past experience speaking.

Does the blaze of color keep E. awake nights?

Wow, this tree has grown over the past couple of weeks. Sometimes the flowers glow at night when I drive by the house. Ed uses a shade to block out the bright light.

I might have allergies or, something to do with this tree. Mew keeps regulating the amount of bright light that goes into her room. I just happen to occupy it.

Big E. - can't you accidentally stumble into the thing in the night (blinded by the color) and knock it off at the root system? Either that or pour draino around the roots.

One way,
Or another -
We're gonna' get'cha, get'cha, get'cha....

It could have a gasoline accident in the middle of the night. However, these people are Cuban and party all hours in the night. I will have to be watchfull if this tree were to have a gas accident.
