Ready or not ...

While taking this picture, no living creatures were harmed, but a straw from a broom was killed, absolutely.

Portable cave: free @ Publix.

Rescued cat: Vet fees and occasional boarding: costly.

Feeling safe from broom straws, lizards, spiders, and mice: priceless!

At least to us, she still does cute things. To everybody else she is just a cat. Nothing fancy, just a cat with a people problem. She is not a people kind of cat. She is just cute.

Still, she likes to keep peeps company ... but not broom straws, lizards, spiders and mice.

Aww, she is too cute! I love a kitty in a cave, even the paper kind. If you tap the closed end, they turn around and try to find whatever's out there making that thumping noise. We always used the end of a fly-swatter or a ruler, lest the paper give way and one's fingers become entangled in the pointy ends. Sam was particularly good at breaking out of the bag. I think it was all the drooling he did!
