Home grown menace . . .

If the wind becomes too frisky, we will have to remove the coconuts from the palm tree in the side yard. They may ripen so we will save them if we have to do surgery. I would rather the weather cooperated enough to let them drop from the tree on their own. But we don't need any home grown, windborne bombs aiming at us.

Maybe I'll just go out and tug on one to see how loosely they are attached . . .

Awww. Hopefully the coconuts surgery will be postponed. It was strange to wake to a dark sky this morning. It appears the sun had gone on vacation.

Looks like it'll come ashore Tues. AM and we'll be dealing with it on Wednesday. Just what we ordered, a slow moving glob of wind and rain. Hope that's all - and not too much of that! Coconuts still attached?

Yers, the coconuts are still armed and ready. Just hope there's not a bombing run during the night.
