Evidently, it is not wise to ride a stationary bike while watching the Tour de France peleton horsing their bikes up a ten to twelve percent grade. They were in the Alps. Climbing. Accelerating.
I helped. Found myself pedaling faster in sympathy. Only remembered to slow down during commercial breaks.
Today, I pay. Taking Advil and using mineral ice on a hip. Today, it is annoying.
But, for a while there, I was on a roll . . .

I can see you now taking the next step and getting a real bicycle to ride at the park for thirty minutes, minus the rain, or shopping to do. You'll lose weight and gain muscle tissue. Tour de France here I come when it is out of season and you can take your time.
I ride the Tour de Fanny on the rocking chair on the porch. Twenty or thirty minutes there gives me incentive to get up and do laundry or cross the grass to check mail. Or just go inside and take a nap. A power nap, of course....
01 Doc, Power nap still can attack at any time, can it not? I don't know how to fight off a nap attack of any kind. Power would just take me right down.
BigEd, there's a mobile bike on the premises that I used to ride. I don't bounce well, any longer. The stationary bike gives me enough mus tone to hold my hip and knee together - most days. Don't ride = feel badly. Must be working, somehow.
