Too hot to title

The temperatures here makes one believe the global warming warnings. Perhaps everyone could take a deep breath and blow some cooler air in our southerly direction? If you are in the triple digits, never mind.

Yesterday, a lady at the library came out of her office and said it was cold back there. I invited her to step outside and warm up. I told her that our exterior house thermometer (in the shade) and our car's thermometer agreed at 97 degrees F.

And to think I was complaining about rainy days . . .

It might be a new weather pattern, or just a freak month. I remember an evangelist saying he didn't believe in global warming as if it weren't biblical. However, Seattle did not have rain for thirty days and the temperatures got to around 100. Never had weather like that there ever. Hmmm

Global warming is a possibility. It's also possible that global weather goes in cycles and 20,000 years ago it was warm and 50,000 years ago it was cool and 80,000 years ago it was ... well you get the idea. Point is, nobody is around who can tell us about it. Weatherman said that the rain line is moving north about a mile a year and has been for the past 300 years. That's hardly the distance from South to North Florida. I'm glad for a dry spell now and again. Just wait until the magnetic poles flip on us and the compass becomes useless. Or not, wait - we'll just hold it sideways and it'll still work, won't it?

To hot to handle. Thank goodness all A/C 's are working at the moment. As for the weather, rain, please. I'll pay the lawn man; whatever it takes. My compass does work sideways.
