Better than asking directions . . .

We have decided to look into owning a GPS. Not knowing anything about the differences between types, research seems appropriate. The easiest sort of research, asking around, is my method of choice, today.

Any ideas? Would Zeta ask the Guru what he thinks? I value his pronouncements immensely.

Meanwhile, if WOOT dot com would hand me one, I'd be happy . . .

I think I told you, I got a GPS for Dummies brand and if it's not got ALL the bells and whistles - I can get around with it, plus there are upgrades in software to be had if I'm interested. I like that I can go somewhere it hasn't been and isn't aware of and then tell it to remember where it is and it can always go back there.

It does have at least one issue - I once made a circle in the parking lot at work and when I pulled out onto the highway, the icon was going backward - and stayed that way all the way home. I guess the satellite didn't catch the fact that it was a full circle?

LOL. Its 10 pm and I sent him a text him when I left school around 8:40 pm to ask him about a phone call, and he did not respond. I figured he was settled in for the evening. His cell is probably by the big screen TV reading “text arrived.” I’ll ask him tomorrow.

Thanks to you both. Zeta, I will wait for word to come down from the Guru.

o1 Doc, the same thing happened when we went around the Walgreens to the drive up window. I remember our watching it as the little arrow icon guided us accurately while pointing backwards.
