Ranger could do it better ...

The overworked people at our local pharmacy deserve every dollar they earn.

The person at the pharmacy register who normally handles walk ups and answers the telephone has moved on ...
evidently to a galaxy far, far away. So far, there is no replacement.

The pharmacists and insurance specialist are doing double/triple duty. Patrons wait ... wait ... wait in line and fume.

I think I will give the manager of the store my prescription for better customer service.

I believe the loss in customer service is equal to a loss in customers. They may have calculated this and see fit running the pharmacy this way is still profitable. And this place used to be ok. This pharmacy has a commercial on how they helped someone who lost their pharmaceuticals and got them replaced. This place didn't do this for us when it happened to us.

My pharmacy is on the corner at 90 and 247 and I call ahead or order online and tell them what time to have it ready and they email me back or call my cell phone to let me know I can pick it up. They're open 24/7/365 and there's a drive through line. All this convenience and we STILL have to wait for the customer crush to thin out at certain times. Not to name names, but there's a W, an L and a G in their name.

I usually arrive to EK.... around 9:00 p.m. after I leave work. For some reason, there is never a line at this time. Most people are home putting their children to bed or watching T.V. is my guess.
