Still drafty ...

The metaphorical paint's still drying, and the NFL Draft is ongoing. I would ask how long it lasts but I really don't want to know. Our sports enthusiasts keep going back and checking in to see how we are doing.

For them, the drama equates to a marathon of the BBC's "Pride and Prejudice, Emma, and Persuasion." Seen in that light ... I do understand.

Yes, the sports enthusiasts would rather watch paint dry as apposed to "Pride and Prejudice, Emma, and Persuasion."

Our NFL home football team’s head honcho didn’t know how to react to the hostile crowd that demanded their first round draft pick be a quarterback. The crowd, being disciples of the news paper, gave him a thumbs down when they heard they got a wide receiver instead. I guess the coach is still in the fans good graces. It wasn’t the middle finger that was used. I suppose the fans are still giving the head honcho a chance. If there is no winning season or a win in the playoffs; then fire him and give us another coach.

Hum...yes I did see the fans reactions, and bow and arrows would have flown if allowed.

Thank goodness there are multiple TV's in your home.
